Most things sooner or later end up beeing discarded and thrown into the wastebin or a container. The chair below you, the computer you read this from, your clothes, your books, your photos, - virtually everything comes to a sad end on the landfill or in the oven of the incinerator. One notable exeption are the objects safeguarded for posterity in thousands of large and small museums all over the world. These things have been more or less professionally selected by curators and museum workers as part of a permanent surviving herritage. Our idea was to perform a "short-circuit" of this universal principle determining the fate of all things material - so we brought the waste into the museum!
